Workplace bullying testimonials

Our office has two days a week of remote work. My boss texts me often and accuses me of not working if I do not respond within minutes, even though he can see on my zoom call calendar and the time stamps of my sent emails that I was of course working.

Often when I lift my head from my desk, my boss is observing me with a nasty look.

My manager was handing me documents, I extended my hand to receive them, he dropped the documents on the desk.

The company said my and my colleagues’ deteriorating physical health are our own responsibility, and we shouldn’t try to guilt managers by asking for better work conditions.

My boss shouted at me, used the F-word, then fake-apologized and advised I should change my behavior.

I was given a job that needed certain tools, my boss said the company could not provide those so I just had to manage somehow. Weeks later HR informed me I was supposed to request the tools as everyone else does for this type of work.

For months, my company regularly advertises my own position online, and as soon as I ask what is going on, they remove the ad, to re-post it some weeks later so I can never feel safe.

Our company knows about 10% of staff are vegan. Yet they only ever order meat and dairy-heavy catering. When we try to ask to get food access like everyone else, they respond our lifestyle is not their problem and meat is needed to have energy at work.

I told my manager that as a non-native speaker I was not skilled enough to answer a certain email. She responded I should manage, so I did my best. She checked after I sent it and shouted at me. She does this each time I ask for support in doing tasks I am not qualified nor even paid for as an intern.

My whole team goes for lunch together every now and then, I have joined the team several months ago and have never been invited. The one time I tried to join, I was asked to stay behind to complete some non-urgent task.
